Steiner Early Years

Both week day evenings and Saturday talks are offered on a wide range of subjects tailored to suit your particular group's needs.

Sometimes a new initiative may want a talk that looks at the basic underlying principles of Steiner early years education, or an established school may be interested in a talk given to their parent groups on a particular topic of their choice.

Related books and an opportunity to ask questions are available at each of these sessions.

I am happy to discuss the possibility of running such sessions on any topic related to children from birth to seven years of age.

Below are some of the topics I have been asked to discuss:

General Introduction to Steiner Early Years

Child Development

Resolutions for Conflict

Creative Discipline

Importance of Stories & Storytelling

Technology & Media

Festivals & Celebrations

'Thank you for the opportunity tonight - listening to you was fantastic and made us feel even more motivated in how to spend the time "well" with our children. Very positive thoughts, simple ideas that we almost forgot to think of in our busy lives.'  Bristol Steiner Academy Parent

'Joy has visited us on several occasions. She always brings fresh ideas and inspires us again, giving us the courage to continue with our work. She is an engaging and insightful, speaker and brings her deep understanding of Steiner Education alive. She helps the parents to understand their role at home as well us giving them a firm grounding in what goes on inside the class room and the reasons behind the approach.'  SC

'Joy has a deep knowledge of Anthroposophy and the Steiner approach, she brings with her years of experience and wisdom as a parent and teacher. Her approach is light and fun. We call it the "Joy" effect and it can do wonders for all who come in to contact with it!'
